en Humanitarian mission to Novovorontsovka, Kherson region
The UFA team visited the Kherson region on April 5, 2024. Here’s a story about not being discouraged in difficult times.
We have brought 116 food packages, drinking water, and fuel to these strong-willed people. We thank Urgent Projects, Khvylya Zdorovya, and Axon Partners for this. The people of Ukraine appreciate your help, and we would like to express this gratitude!
На території села велись бойові дії, іHostilities occurred on the village’s territory, and the infrastructure was destroyed. Because of this, there were no jobs, and many people moved away. Locals here say they “survive as good as possible” but are open to communication. They are very positive and inspired: they even manage to help the military at the front.
The locals have organized their volunteer workshop:
- they sew clothes for soldiers;
- knit warm socks;
- make trench candles.
People do not get bored; everyone is busy. Perhaps this willpower impulse turns a person from a victim into a creator, and it’s energizing.
We also thank the strong and conscious Ukrainian businesses and our British partner foundation for enabling us to visit the de-occupied territories once again.
The military stands on the frontline for Ukrainians. At the same time, Ukrainians work in the rear, volunteers help here and there, and everyone in this fantastic story regularly donates to the fundraising.
To keep the cycle of machines and drones going. So that life can continue.
