en Five Ford Police Interceptor vehicles from the USA for the Ukrainian Defense Forces
The UFA team has always favored efficient donor fund spending. We bought cheaper but better cars on the US market. The fundraising lasted from April to September 2023.
The advantages of American Ford Interceptor cars are that they are designed for police use, have a strengthened frame, a forced engine, Kevlar in the doors, and are 2015+ car years. The price per car is also less than in Europe.
We deliberately took the risk of buying the best for our defenders. The interceptors required renovation, but we managed to restore each vehicle. They turned out to be the most powerful vehicles we have ever bought — 400 horsepower!
➕ Advantages of cars from the USA:
- the average price of $7.5 thousand with renovation;
- 2014-2017 years;
- mileage up to 200 thousand km;
- a larger variety of cars;
- gasoline engine is less likely to break down.
➖ Cons:
- three months shipping time;
- diesel is more affordable in the combat zone.
Using the example of the five Ford Police Interceptors we have brought, which have already proven themselves, we want to confirm that the US car market has significant potential.
