en Armored vehicle for assault troops of the 79th Brigade
The third battalion of the 79th Air Assault Brigade received a vehicle for which we were raising money. We thank the donors and continue to support the army together! We held fundraising in the fall of 2023 and delivered the vehicle in December.

Our volunteer Oles had to go to Poland to bring a car for the 79th Brigade, which we had purchased for fundraising by the NGO UFA’s Instagram community. Oles had a complete package of documents:
- a travel permit issued through The Way (Шлях) system;
- official volunteer certificate;
- travel documents.
Despite this, our volunteer was twice denied entry to the border! The car that was needed for yesterday was stuck abroad. This refusal resulted in the loss of our volunteers’ time and money.
The car was purchased in Vilnius, and we could have had it delivered to Kovel for €600. However, we decided to travel on our own because it was much cheaper. As you know, the independent trip did not go well.
Nevertheless, we found a way out of this challenging situation. This was the case when the supportive Ukrainians abroad stepped in a game. A team of two people agreed to drive the car from Poland to Lviv, from where volunteers of the NGO UFA transported it to Kyiv.
After free repairs by one of the top service stations in Kyiv and Kharkiv, we transferred the vehicle to the soldiers of the glorious 79th Air Assault Brigade.
The story’s moral is very simple: it would be better if everyone donated regularly and helped us to help the military because we are doing this for the military, who are fighting for all of us. We thank everyone who is fighting for the welfare and future of Ukraine.
